MB011-IN 1 micron industrial/ heavy duty 9 3/4" x 2 1/2" sediment filter.

URWater uses this sediment cartridge as the standard sediment filter cartridge in all of its rental water coolers. The reason? Because after 6 months of use, when we come to conduct a service on the cooler we can be assured that the internal water tanks are spotless and need nothing more than a quick wipe out and sterilise instead of harsh scrubbing which adds around 20 minutes to each cooler service.

In areas where rust or heavy sediment loads are a problem, you should seriously consider upgrading your pre filter to an industrial grade filter. It costs a bit more but at the end of the day, it has done far more to protect your water filter system than the standard sediment cartridge. 

If you have no issues with sediments or rust and you find that your sediment filter is pretty much spotless when you replace it, then there would be no need for an upgrade in that case.

Industrial grade sediment filters are available in all sizes but you can expect to pay a premium for the extra protection and performance of the filters. Currently we only stock the most common industrial grade size (9 3/4" x 2.5") but can order direct from the manufacturers are a moments notice when required.
