RM18 Reverse osmosis membrane replacement cartridge

This is the membrane cartridge located in the centre cartridge position on the RM18 Reverse Osmosis filter system. The reverse osmosis membrane contained inside of the filter is a Dow Filmtec 100 lpd membrane will provide a high rate of impurity rejection for between 3 and 5 years (depending on feed water quality and volume of water treated) before requiring replacement .

The indicator light on the base of the filter tap will flash 'RED' when the inbuilt TDS meter detects a drop in the rejection rate of impurities by the membrane. 

The inbuilt TDS meter will test incoming water TDS levels and also pure water TDS levels and instantly calculate the difference ie: 300 part per million (ppm) going in, 7.5ppm pure = 97.5% rejection of impurities.
