If you enjoy a fine single malted scotch the last thing you want to be doing is adding bad tasting chemicals to your fine drink when you fill your glass with ice.

Our premium twin inline filtration system is specifically designed to be easily installed on the back of your fridge and connect into the 1/4" tubing from the tap.

If you have a fridge with an ice maker this system is perfect for you, providing high quality purified water by reducing sediments, bacteria, cysts, lead and other heavy metals, chemicals including chlorine down to 0.5 microns by use of an Omnipure 10" x 2.5" cyst and lead rated coconut carbon block.

The filtered water then passes through another Omnipure 10" x 2.0" Coconut carbon and Polyphosphate scale reduction cartridge which takes care of hardness minerals and scale which affect the taste and clarity of your water and ice cubes.

So to upgrade from the standard carbon (usually only 5 microns and a coal based carbon) fridge filter, the ice perfect twin system can be installed in less than 5 minutes. Fridge user/owner manuals usually explain how to bypass internal filter cartridges or a bypass valve was provided with the fridge. If you are able to remove your filter cartridge and still dispense water (without water gushing out over the floor) this means your fridge has a built in shut off valve. Simply remove this cartridge and install the ICE PERFECT PREMIUM TWIN SYSTEM on the back and you are ready to go. Most fridges have a 1/4" food grade plastic tubing leading into the fridge which is easily adapted into to fit the ice perfect twin system.

For optimum performance the polyphosphate cartridge should be replaced after 6 months as the polyphosphate will begin dissolving the moment it is first wet and will be almost completely dissolved after 6 months of use. The 0.5 micron cyst and lead rated coconut carbon block cartridge can provide a high level of filtration for up to 12 months depending on the quality of the feed water. Note: High levels of sediments will reduce the service life of this cartridge. If sediments are a problem in your area we suggest installing an inline sediment filter (currently around $30 extra and available in our online store) to extend the life of the carbon block cartridge to the full 12 months.

The ICE PERFECT PREMIUM TWIN FRIDGE FILTER SYSTEM comes standard with 2 x mounting clips and screws, John Guest elbows and tubing ready to go assembled. Just connect it to your 1/4" tube and flush out the first 10 litres into a bucket before connecting the outlet to your fridge.
