Dragonfly M18 UV lamp kit

Manufacturers Hyflux, have rated the UV lamp to last up to 12 months. After 3 years of selling and servicing the Dragonfly M18's we've found that the UV lamp has far exceeded the 12 month life to reach as much as 24 months. Life span of the UV lamp is subject to usage and power conditions (dirty power will affect the serviceable life of electrical equipment).

The UV lamp includes a UV bulb assembly as well as a UV ballast.

The Dragonfly M18 will alert the user whilst they are dispensing water with continueous beeping (not just 3-4 beeps). More than 1 beep when dispensing indicates that the starter bulb (similar to the starter in a houshold fluro) may be blown. If the beeping stops after 2-4 beeps while still dispensing, it means your UV bulb is still functioning correctly and that the water is still being treated by UV.
