Product Description

Making water from the air is very economical. Owning a Dragonfly means that you will never pay for bottled water again. Water from Air is about 500% cheaper than the price of bottled water.

As a Dragonfly makes Water from the air it also filters the air and functions as a de-humidifier making the environment that it functions in more comfortable to live in.

Using a Dragonfly Air to Water machine eliminates the need for you to buy, carry, store, and dispose of plastic bottles, helping in eliminating our next eco disaster.

The Dragonfly is a stylish and smart looking addition to your home or workplace. Pleasing to the eye, it will be easy to integrate with existing home and office layouts and designs which will mean that you don’t have to find a place to hide it away.

The Dragonfly requires no plumbing or special electrical installation. All you need to get started is a small amount of bench space and a standard power point and you will be making and drinking pure water from the air.

The Dragonfly is also economical to run. On Average it consumes around 8 cents per hour of electricity when it is making water (Dragonfly consumes between 460 watts and 580 watts of power whilst in full water production at 14.37c/kWh (power costs will vary depending on your supplier) = 8.33c/hour max). This would work out to a maximum of $2.00 per day if you were to make water 24 hours a day. This is not usually the case as a family household would not consume the daily production capacity of up to a maximum of 30.2 litres in a 24 hour period. We do advise that during the cold and dry winter periods production will be greatly lowered and an alternate source of water may be needed during this time.

Once the collection tank is full, the Dragonfly enters a power saving cycle, standby mode, further enhancing cost efficiency in use.

On an average day in Brisbane, Queensland where the humidity is 65% and the temperature is around 28 Degrees the Dragonfly will produce approximately 18 litres of water or 750ml per hour (if the collection tank in constantly emptied to avoid the Dragonfly turning off once the tank is full) If you only required 5 litres during one of these days, the Dragonfly will replenish the tank with the 5 litres of water in around 6 hours 40 minutes. The production cost of that 5 litres would be around 55 cents or 11 cents per litre. Imagine being able to buy water from a shop for only 11 cents per litre. Keep dreaming! A 15 litre bottle of water at $9 a bottle would cost you $3 for every 5 litres, plus your time and effort to buy the bottle and lug it to your car and then into your house. Besides that hassle, you don't know where the bottled water has been sourced from. Is it bore water? Tap water? Or a combination of both? Ask your bottled water supplier for the exact collection point of the water contained in your bottled water.

I have had water filters before but this water from the air system is so much better. It tastes better and knowing there are no addatives and chemicals makes us feel better. :)
    Thank you.
