Biofilm may form on the outer ceramic surface and reduce the flow rate. This can be corrected by the customer by simply removing the cartridge and cleaning/ scrubbing the cartridge with a scourer pad under running tap water until clean.

Carbon inner core has a serviceable life of 2,300 litres which is approximately 1 years at around 6.3 litres per day. Once serviceable life has been reached the filter will need to be replaced with a new cartridge. Carbon inner is not replaceable.
